Media Release

Effective Date: August 6, 2026 Document: Media Release Operator: Fastpitch Authority, 126 Shipman Ln, Double Springs, Alabama 35553 Contact: support@fastpitchauthority.com **This release is optional. You may decline every part of it and your daughter may still attend, participate, be measured, and appear in the rankings. Nothing about her results depends on signing this.** That is a deliberate choice on our part. Some organizations in youth sports require a broad, permanent grant of a child's name and likeness as a condition of playing. We do not, and we will not. ## 1. What this document is, and is not This document covers photographs, video, and written features — publicity material. It does **not** cover her statistics, her measured metrics, or her ranking. Those are governed by the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, because publishing verified performance data is the service you are purchasing. Declining this release does not remove her from a leaderboard. ## 2. The three permissions Each permission below is separate. You may grant one and refuse the others. Each is recorded individually against your account, with the date and the version of this document you agreed to. ### A. Event photography and video You permit Fastpitch Authority to photograph and record video at the event, and to use material in which your daughter appears to promote Fastpitch Authority, its events, and its services. This covers our website, our email, our social media accounts, printed material, and material we supply to a venue or a partner organization for the purpose of promoting an event. It does not include selling her image as merchandise of any kind. We do not produce trading cards, posters, prints, or any product bearing an athlete's image, and this release does not permit us to begin doing so. ### B. Naming her in a feature You permit Fastpitch Authority to name your daughter, name her team, and use her photograph in a written feature published in Fastpitch News or in a story we provide to another publication. This is separate from permission A because being one face in a crowd at an event is a different thing from being the subject of an article. ### C. Video of her performance You permit Fastpitch Authority to publish video recorded at the event showing your daughter's swing, throw, or run, on her profile and on our channels. Video is treated separately and more strictly than photography throughout our system. If you decline this permission, or later withdraw it, video playback of your daughter is blocked automatically everywhere on the platform. That block is enforced in our database, not by a setting someone has to remember. ## 3. What we do not ask for For clarity, because these terms appear in similar documents elsewhere in youth sports, this release does **not** grant Fastpitch Authority: - Any right that is irrevocable or perpetual - Any ownership of, or assignment of, your daughter's name, image, or likeness - Any right to her signature, or to collect signed items - Any right to use her name or likeness to endorse a third party's product - Any right to sell, license, or transfer these permissions to another company - Any right that survives the deletion of her profile You are not waiving her name, image, and likeness rights. You are permitting a specific, limited use, for as long as you allow it. ## 4. No payment Fastpitch Authority does not pay for the permissions above, and you are not charged for declining them. If we ever wish to use your daughter's image in a way that generates revenue directly from her image, we will ask you separately and in writing at that time. ## 5. Withdrawing permission You may withdraw any of these permissions at any time by emailing support@fastpitchauthority.com from the email address on your account, or through your account settings. When you withdraw permission: - We stop using the material in anything new, immediately. - We remove it from our website, our profiles, and our own social media accounts within 30 days. - Video playback is blocked immediately and automatically. We cannot recall material that has already been printed, already been broadcast, or already been shared onward by another person. We will not republish it. ## 6. Other people's cameras Prospect Days take place at public and semi-public venues. Other families, coaches, college staff, and members of the public may take photographs and video. This release governs what **Fastpitch Authority** does. It does not, and cannot, control recording by anyone else present. ## 7. Who signs This release must be agreed to by a parent or legal guardian for any athlete under 18. By agreeing, you confirm you are that parent or legal guardian and are authorized to make these decisions. An athlete who is 18 or older agrees for herself. ## 8. How your choice is recorded Your answer to each permission is stored against your account with a timestamp and the version number of this document. A declined permission is recorded as a positive answer — a recorded "no", not an absence of a "yes" — so that it is enforced rather than merely unrecorded. If we change this document, the version you agreed to remains attached to your consent record. A new version does not silently expand what you agreed to; we will ask again. ## 9. Governing law This release is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in Winston County, Alabama. ## 10.
