All Fastpitch Authority boards, rankings, events, and benchmarks run by age division — every single age, 8U through 18U.
- 8U–18U: one board per age, per state, plus a National 100 per age. A player competes in the age division her family selects when creating her profile — typically the division she plays in travel ball.
- Older than 18U: players compete on the 18U board. 18U is the ceiling division.
- 5U–7U: never publicly listed or ranked. Our youngest players are tracked privately through ★ Future Watch at FPA First Combine Days; public boards begin at 8U.
- Grad year: displayed on her player card for college recruiting context only. Boards and benchmarks are age-based — holdbacks and reclassified players compete with their age division, and their grad year tells recruiters the rest.
- Benchmarks: every age division has its own metric benchmarks for exit velocity, home-to-first, and throwing velocity. A player is always measured against her own age group.
